On Onfimkina glade said goodbye to migratory birds and made souvenirs

Today, on the Onfimkina glade in the Novgorod Kremlin, the holiday “Autumn we meet, we see off birds!” was held. This was reported by the press service of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve.

Participants recalled folk signs and autumn customs, played, danced and accompanied migratory birds to warm lands with songs. After the festivities, the holiday continued with creative master classes: children created figurines of birds from felt and textiles, made souvenirs from clay and painted wooden blanks.

There was also a small fair on the glade: there you could buy products of Novgorod masters.
