Draft resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus on protection and use of waters submitted for public discussion

On the website of the Legal Forum of Belarus, a public discussion of the draft resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus “On activities in the field of water protection and use” has started. This sb.by reported in the press service of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection.

The organizer of the public discussion is the Ministry of Natural Resources, the subject of legal regulation of the draft regulatory legal act is public relations related to the issuance of permits for special water use, the maintenance of the state water cadastre and the use of its data, the transfer of surface water bodies (their parts) to rent for recreation, physical culture, sports and tourism. In addition, we are talking about the use of water bodies for navigation on small ships and other floating structures, the creation and operation of basin councils, the coordination and implementation of work related to the extraction of timber, the establishment of prohibitions and restrictions on the general use of water.
