8.5 million rubles will be allocated for the development of Kostroma health care

The administration of the Kostroma region approved changes in the budget of the territorial fund of compulsory medical insurance for 2026. After the adjustment, the fund's revenues will increase by 8.5 million rubles.

The bulk of the additional funds — 6.5 million rubles — are planned to be spent on co-financing the costs of medical institutions for the payment of salaries to doctors and employees of nurses. Another 2 million rubles are provided for improving the skills of medical workers, buying new equipment and repairing existing equipment.

Separately, about 50 thousand rubles want to allocate for incentive payments to specialists who detect cancer in residents of the region during medical examinations and preventive examinations.

After approval in the administration of the region, the bill was transferred to the deputies of the Kostroma regional Duma.
