In Yamal started the second day of voting

On September 19, the second day of the three-day voting began in Yamal. The polling stations opened at 08:00. On the eve of the public headquarters summed up the results of the first day of observation of the elections.

In the evening of September 18, the polling stations closed at 20:00, after which the established procedure for working with ballots began. Chief of staff Dmitry Zayakin said that she was followed by observers on the ground and employees of the public video surveillance center.

“For us, the main result is that we have not recorded any comments that could affect the outcome of the citizens’ will. This is really an objective picture, because we not only have observers at every polling station in Yamal, but also a full monitoring of the Internet space, and our observers of the Center for Public Video Surveillance live watch what is happening at polling stations, said Dmitry Zayakin.

According to him, in the morning there were queues in some areas.

It is great that the people of Yamal responded to the call of the Russian president to come to the polls, to show the strength of their northern spirit, their real patriotic character. And this is great, because everyone was in a good mood, Zayakin added.

The public headquarters will continue to monitor all three days of voting, including through video broadcasts and monitoring of messages on the Internet. The work of the headquarters is going round the clock. Zayakin explained that after the end of the vote, the observers will sum up the results of their work for all days.

In Tarko-Sala on September 18, newlyweds Azalea and Bohodur Normatov came to the polling station on the wedding day. The couple went to vote immediately after the registration of the marriage in the registry office.
