During the work, road workers will have to remove old asphalt concrete with a thickness of several centimeters, after which the new coating will be laid.
Recall that in this road construction season in Karelia, sections of the R-21 Kola and A-119 Vologda – Medvezhyegorsk – R-21 highway with a total length of more than 250 km are brought to the standard. Works on replacing layers of wear take place in several districts of the republic.
At the time of updating the coverage in the places of work there are traffic restrictions. Travel will be ensured through the organization of reverse or one-way traffic (organization of alternate passage of oncoming vehicles in one lane), as well as short-term cessation of traffic for certain periods of time (total no more than eight hours a day).
We ask drivers to take this into account when planning their trips. We also remind you of the increased attention when driving on areas where work is carried out, strict compliance with the Rules of the road, the requirements of road signs, belt traffic lights and traffic signals.
