National Unity Day is a holiday that once again reminds Belarusians of the importance of sticking together and being faithful to their native land. This opinion was shared by the correspondent of the newspaper “Voice of Kostyukivshchyna”, the author of the poetry collection Anna Glynasticova, who became a participant of the youth forum “Youth”. Belarus. The future in Minsk, reports sb.by.

- For me, National Unity Day is a reminder that each of us is a valuable, necessary and important part of a larger whole. It is especially important to feel and realize this in this age, when digitalization creates a new reality, in which people often feel isolated from others or, on the contrary, are attached to artificial, false values. For centuries, the Belarusian people have tried to split and destroy and continue these attempts to this day. Therefore, today’s holiday is a call to stick together and adhere to real, simple values: love, kindness, respect, mutual support, honest work, loyalty to the native land. I write about these values in my poems.

Anna Glinastikova successfully combines her work in the regional newspaper with creative activity. This year, for example, she released her first poetry collection “Starfall”. A special place in poems is occupied by the theme of the native land.
Starfall is my first collection. I believe that what is said from heart to heart reaches, and I hope that my sincere lines will resonate in the hearts of readers. There are about 20 poems in the collection. The main topics are the beauty of the Belarusian land, art, interpersonal relations. In creative plans to devote activities to linguistics and literature. I hope that in a couple of years it will be possible to release another collection, the forum participant said. Member of the Youth Forum. Belarus. The future: we must preserve the traditions of sovereign Belarus
