Natalia Kochanova: a new page in the history of relations between Belarus and Algeria has been opened

The results of the official visit of the Belarusian delegation to Algeria were told by the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, authorized representative of the Head of State in Minsk Natalia Kochanova, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

N. Kochanova stressed that the negotiations at all levels were held on an exceptionally high and trusting note, indicating the transition to large-scale practical cooperation.

- It is safe to say that this visit has opened a new page in the history of Belarusian-Algerian relations. The meeting with the President of Algeria, talks with the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Parliament showed that the Algerian side is deeply immersed in all issues and shows the highest interest in developing full-scale cooperation with Belarus, she said.

She noted that the intensive dialogue continued until the last minutes of the delegation’s stay: even at the airport before departure, there was a discussion of promising joint projects with the Chairman of the Council of Nations of Algeria.

- We are ready to work in all areas - from the supply of equipment and industrial cooperation to pharmaceuticals and joint production, Kochanova added. A clear algorithm for moving forward has been formed, which lays a reliable foundation for a long-term strategic partnership between our states.
