Andrey Dronov’s mother Elena Vasilievna is a teacher of Russian language and literature. She urged her eldest son Igor to follow in her footsteps. Andrew, while studying at school, listened to their career-oriented conversations. He was persuaded to become a doctor. However, after graduating from school, he gave the certificate to where the soul lay – in the pedagogical, for a mathematics teacher.

Andrey fell in love with mathematics in the sixth grade. Largely thanks to his teacher Bobrovodvorsk school Tamara Zhilina.

“I just saw the beauty of all these mathematical actions, all kinds of solutions, methods, proofs,” he says.

After almost a decade of work as a teacher, Andrei Dronov admits that coming to work at school was definitely the right decision.
