The IV Arakcheev Ball was held in the Georgian Leisure Center on October 10. This year, the holiday was included in the program of the governor’s project “Novgorod mosaic” and for several hours brought guests to the atmosphere of the XIX century, the press service of the Administration of the Chudovsk district reported.
It seemed as if the doors opened into the estate of Count A. A. Arakcheev: couples swirled in the halls, and tender sounds of romances floated in the air. The special magic of the evening was created by the organizers - employees of the Georgian TsNTD Irina Rechkina, Inna Brak and Svetlana Tsvetkova. It was their painstaking work and attention to every detail that helped to truly revive the bygone era.
A brilliant contribution to the celebration was made by invited teams. The guests were delighted to meet the ensemble of historical ballroom dance "Balls on the Palace" from Veliky Novgorod, as well as the teams "Padegras" from the village of Krestsy and "Menuet" from Valdai. Their performances became a real journey into the world of ancient dances.
The musical palette of the evening was complemented by young talents: students of the V.S. Serova School of Arts, the children's exemplary ensemble of violinists "Allegretto" under the leadership of Galina Tsepova, as well as young guitarist Angelina Mikhailova. Especially touching were the romances performed by Alexander Podberezsky - their subtle accompaniment from Elena Kovrigina seemed to fill the hall with a special light.
