In 2027, Russians are waiting for seven reduced working weeks

In 2027, Russians are waiting for seven reduced working weeks. Earlier, the country officially approved the production calendar for 2027. This is enshrined in the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of September 17, 2026 No. 1187, which was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The first three-day work week will fall in February and the second in November. Citizens will work four days a week in March, May, June and December. There will be two such short weeks in May.
According to the document, next year Russians expect 247 working days, as well as 118 weekends and holidays. The New Year holidays will last eleven days, starting from December 31, 2026 and ending on January 10, 2027 inclusive. An extended three-day weekend is scheduled for February, March and June. May holidays will divide the month into two parts and give six days of rest. In November, citizens will be able to rest four days in a row, since the day off from January 2 was postponed to Friday, November 5.
On the eve of public holidays, the working day will be reduced by one hour. In 2027, there will be four such days: February 20 before the Defender of the Fatherland Day, May 30 before the Spring and Labor Day, June 11 before Russia Day and November 3 before the National Unity Day.
The schedule for transferring weekends is as follows. Saturday, February 20, will be working to ensure a long weekend from February 21-23. Monday, March 8, will remain non-working, which will allow you to relax from March 6 to 8. Since Russia Day on June 12 falls on Saturday, this weekend is postponed to Monday, June 14, extending the rest from June 12 to June 14. Sunday, January 2, moved to Friday, November 5, which will form the November holidays from 4 to 7.
The final working day of 2027 will be Thursday, December 30.
