How agricultural enterprises of the Grodno region work and what violations were revealed during the working trip by the Chairman of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov, KGC reported sb.by.
Vasily Gerasimov studied the situation at the flax mills of the region and livestock facilities, and also got acquainted with the work of regional agroservices.
As part of monitoring the implementation of the President’s instructions, he visited Korelichi-Len OJSC and Palace Flax Factory OJSC. In the area of attention - storage conditions of flax trusts and equipment. As noted in the KGC, earlier there were identified shortcomings in the storage of flax trusts, currently they are eliminated.
With the management of enterprises, issues of fulfilling the state order, selecting areas for sowing flax, using equipment and supplying spare parts were discussed. One of the issues identified by the manufacturers is the construction of additional storage facilities for the storage of flax trusts. Given the increase in harvested raw materials, current storage facilities are insufficient. Vasily Gerasimov was also interested in scientific support of flax cultivation.
In three agricultural organizations of Korelich and Novogrudok districts, Vasily Gerasimov inspected the course of field work, corn harvesting, the state of livestock facilities, as well as the process of feed harvesting.
According to the results of visits to dairy complexes, numerous shortcomings were revealed: curtained farms, malfunction of equipment and manure removal systems, lack of water in calves. Disadvantages are identified in the maintenance and feeding of animals. In addition to violations of technological discipline, the facts of mismanagement were revealed. There was no order on the territory of the farms, the windows and doors of livestock premises were not repaired.
Following the visit, the heads of agricultural organizations and districts were instructed to eliminate violations within a week. Monitoring of the measures taken will be carried out by the regional KGC.
Also in two districts of the region Vasily Gerasimov got acquainted with the work of rayagroservices. Following the visit, instructions were given to expand the range and volume of services provided to agricultural organizations, optimize unused areas, repair existing equipment and upgrade new ones.
