Week of industry in the Yaroslavl region gathered almost 35 thousand participants

Industry Week of Yaroslavl region was attended by about 35 thousand people. Approximately 25 thousand of them were schoolchildren and students, who were presented with the opportunities of regional enterprises and options for professional development.

The central event was the inter-industry exhibition. More than 80 companies, 12 colleges and 11 universities demonstrated their development and production capabilities. In addition, more than 300 participants visited the enterprises and were able to get acquainted with the work of production facilities.

Within the framework of the program, open lectures were held on industrial development, modern technologies, increasing labor productivity, investment and training of specialists. Each day was devoted to a separate topic – from the chemical industry and mechanical engineering to science and youth initiatives.

Governor Mikhail Evraev stressed that industry plays an important role in the economy of the region. According to him, the authorities intend to continue supporting enterprises, strengthen business cooperation with educational institutions and create conditions for the professional growth of young specialists in the Yaroslavl region.
