Parental Love Week to be held in Belarus in mid-October

In October, events will be held throughout the country dedicated to Mother’s Day (October 14) and Father’s Day (October 21). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus.

The ministry reminded:

- The time between these dates is called Parental Love Week. The program includes dozens of events: holidays and concerts, forums and competitions, family quests, exhibitions, sports events, consultations for parents and thematic events.

Among the key events are the final of the “Family of the Year” contest, the International Forum “Talk about the Important: A Happy Family is a Strong State”, a single day of counseling on the social protection of families with children, an online school for working parents, free legal advice for moms and dads, events and actions in all regions.

Ministries and departments, local authorities, educational, health and cultural institutions, public organizations will join the events.

- The main idea of this busy week is to once again remind about the value of family, parental love and care for each other, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection stressed.
