The winner of the competition “Master of the Year” Nikolai Satov headed the Center for Advanced Professional Training of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Satov was born in 1997. In 2021 he graduated from Vladimir State University in the specialty “Construction” (profile “Roads”), in 2023 with honors – master’s degree in law at Tula State University.
A turning point for his career was participation in the All-Russian competition “Master of the Year”: in 2025 Satov became his prize-winner, and in 2026 he worked as an expert of the federal competition commission. Managerial experience and success at the competition, apparently, became decisive - in August 2026 he was appointed head of the CCSP.
The Minister of Education of the region, Mikhail Puchkov, called such victories a mechanism for the formation of a personnel reserve: competitions, according to him, force teachers to improve, including managerial skills, and young teachers see that the system can grow.
