Canadian farmer Rend Feinstra, who settled in the Nizhny Novgorod region, is considering selling his farm in the Dalkonstantinovsky district. In a YouTube blog post, he admitted that he was losing interest in farming, which was more interesting to him while the farm was being built. Construction, he says, attracts him more than farming.
Now the Canadian free helps friends to restore the abandoned house. For him, mutual assistance is more important than earnings, largely for the sake of this attitude to life, he moved with his family to Russia. Feinstra admitted that he is sensitive to old houses, and even regrets that they built their homes from scratch, and did not take up the restoration of the old building.
He has not yet made a decision to sell the farm. In addition, the family is looking for legal options to extend the right to reside in Russia after the expiration of the current residence permit – this will happen in a year and a half. The head of the family refused the offer to conclude a contract with the military department of Russia because of responsibility for eight children.
