New school in Nyandom expands opportunities for students

In Nyandom, a new school for 320 places was opened on Knowledge Day. The educational complex was built within the framework of the federal project “Creating conditions for training, rest and rehabilitation of children and youth”.

The complex includes a training area, a sports core of about 1.5 hectares and landscaped spaces for outdoor recreation.

The school created conditions for the study and comprehensive development of children. In the offices, furniture adjustable by height was installed, and the walls were decorated with thematic drawings and bright accents. In the recreations placed marker boards and upholstered furniture.

The library works in coworking format with mobile workplaces and can be used for project activities. The assembly hall thanks to mobile chairs can be adapted for various events. It is equipped with modern sound and lighting equipment, electronic piano and tribune.

For physical education there are two sports halls with an area of 539 and 281 square meters. They can be used for different age groups and activities.

On the territory next to the school, a volleyball and basketball court, a football field with a catching net, treadmills and sectors for jumping were equipped. For younger schoolchildren, separate zones for active and calm games were provided. When arranging the sites used rubber crumb and artificial grass.

Sixth grader Ulyana Zelik started the school year at a new school. Her mother Anna notes that her daughter enjoys attending classes and perceives school as a second home. She also highlighted a well-kept area and a sports ground that can be used after school and on weekends.

The safety of the facility is provided by engineering systems and the organization of the territory. The school provides external fire extinguishing from tanks, insolation requirements are met, the territory is fenced. Wear-resistant materials were used for finishing, and the navigation system helps visitors navigate inside the building.

According to Vladimir Polezhayev, Minister of Construction and Architecture of the Arkhangelsk Region, the new facility creates conditions not only for studying, but also for sports, creativity, participation in conferences and concerts.
