Novgorod region introduced 19 foreigners from 12 countries to its history

Immediately after the completion of the International Youth Forum in Yekaterinburg, Novgorod region hosted foreign participants under the regional hospitality program. This was reported by Deputy Governor of the region Elena Komarova.

According to her, 19 young people from 12 countries got acquainted with the history of Veliky Novgorod, visited the Kremlin, the Yaroslavl Palace, saw a museum of wooden architecture, played traditional folk games and got acquainted with the Gorodets painting in the regional House of Folk Art.

“The bright conclusion of the evening was the closing ceremony of the final of the High Technologies Championship,” Komarova said.

Ahead of them waiting for four full-fledged busy days in the region, continued the Deputy Governor.

“They will get acquainted with the city of Dostoevsky Stara Russa, visit the Ilmensky clay, walk along our nature reserve – the Great Valdai Trail, visit the ITC Intelligent Electronics Valdai, where they will communicate with young scientists,” Elena Komarova added.
