New Year holidays in 2027 will last 11 days

In 2027, Russians are waiting for several long periods of rest. The longest will be the New Year holidays – they will begin on December 31, 2026 and end on January 10, 2027.
This schedule was obtained due to the postponement of the weekend, which coincided with the holidays. Saturday and Sunday January 2 and 3 will be moved to November 5 and December 31, respectively. Another change will affect February: the day off from Saturday, February 20, will switch to Monday, February 22.
As a result, in February there will be three free days in a row - from 21 to 23 February. The same amount can be rested in early spring: the weekend will be 6, 7 and 8 March.
In May, two three-day rest periods are provided at once - from 1 to 3 May and from 8 to 10 May. The next long weekend will fall at the beginning of summer: from 12 to 14 June.
The longest holiday after the New Year holidays is scheduled for November. Non-working will be four days in a row - from 4 to 7 November. The 2027 calendar will end with another weekend on December 31.
Thus, the calendar provides several opportunities for short trips and additional rest without using vacation: in addition to the 11-day January holidays, there are five three-day and one four-day period.
