Novosibirsk residents were notified about the appearance on the market of the first domestic HPV vaccine
The first domestic vaccine against human papillomavirus (HPV), produced on a full cycle, will arrive in Russian medical institutions in late September

Full production of the vaccine was launched in October 2025 at the Nanolek biomedical complex in the Kirov region. The production cycle covers all stages - from obtaining antigens from the cell bank to the release of the finished dosage form.
7.5 billion rubles were invested in the project. Of these, 950 million rubles was a preferential loan from the Industrial Development Fund aimed at purchasing high-tech equipment.
Customers from several Russian regions have already shown interest in the new vaccine. Applications for supply came, in particular, from the Magadan, Kirov, Kaliningrad, Murmansk and Moscow regions, the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Demand is also expected from large private clinics.
The company expects to significantly increase the release of the drug. In 2027, the company plans to launch a second production site, after which the total capacity for the production of HPV vaccines should exceed 3 million doses per year. By the end of 2026, Nanolek intends to produce 600 thousand doses.
According to Evgeny Barinov, the launch of its own production should reduce the dependence of the Russian market on foreign supplies and increase the availability of HPV vaccination.
Earlier, "MK in Novosibirsk" reported that the Novosibirsk region was among the leaders in sales of drugs for SARS.
