Novosibirsk conscripts told about new rules of military service in 2026

For military service on conscription send men from 18 to 30 years old who are not in reserve. For 2026, Russia has a conscription plan of 261,000 people. For the Novosibirsk region, the figure is about 4 thousand recruits per year. Some of the recruits are planned to be sent, in particular, to the Presidential Regiment and scientific companies.

For some categories of citizens, separate deadlines for sending are provided. Residents of the Far North are called from May 1 to July 15 or from November 1 to December 31. Men engaged in sowing and harvesting work in rural areas can be sent to the troops from October 15. For teachers of the autumn period, there is no sending – their draft term falls on the period from May 1 to July 15.

From conscription service are released: recognized unfit for health reasons, have already passed military or alternative civil service in Russia, as well as previously served in the armed forces of another state.

An important part of the new rules relates to electronic accounting. Information about subpoenas is formed in the relevant register, and information about them can be placed in the personal account of a citizen on the portal "State Services". The electronic summons is considered to be handed from the moment of its placement in the personal account. If it is not considered to have been served in another manner prescribed by law, this status shall come into effect seven days after the date of placement in the register.

The date of appearance on the electronic subpoena cannot be appointed later than 30 days after its placement in the register. If a citizen without good reason did not appear on the served summons, after 20 calendar days from the date specified in the document, temporary measures provided for by law may be applied. Among them is a ban on registration as an individual entrepreneur, suspension of registration of real estate rights and other restrictions.

The term of military service has not changed and is 12 months, regardless of the type and type of troops. After dismissal, the soldier is enrolled in the reserve.

According to the military commissariat of the Novosibirsk region, all 42 military enlistment offices in municipalities are fully ready to work under the new rules, and in this mode they work since the beginning of 2026.
