New button traffic lights began to work on the streets of Saratov

In Saratov, traffic lights with the function of calling the pedestrian phase began to work. This is reported by the city administration.

This system allows citizens to independently activate the permission signal, which eliminates unnecessary stops in traffic flows. The devices are already functioning at a number of addresses: on Burovaya Street, 17, and also near the house No. 33 on Shekhurdin Street, where the intersection with Kupriyanov Street is located. In addition, the equipment is mounted at the junction of Shekhurdin Street and the 3rd Cold Passage.

In addition, regulators are installed at the house No. 66 on Tarkhov Street and at the intersection of Airport and Sokolovorskaya streets. The introduction of such technologies is aimed at optimizing traffic in the regional center.
