New digitalization projects to be implemented in Belarusian energy sector with Rosatom support
The country office of Rosatom State Corporation in Belarus and RUE BelTEI signed on the sidelines of the XXX Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum in Minsk.

The country office of Rosatom in Belarus and RUE BelTEI signed an agreement on strategic cooperation on the sidelines of the XXX Belarusian Energy and Environmental Forum in Minsk.

The document provides for joint participation in the implementation of projects to modernize and digitalize the infrastructure of the unified energy system. The parties plan to develop cooperation on the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions for energy facilities, as well as in the field of improving the business process management system using digital tools. Signatures under the agreement were put by the director of the country office of Rosatom in Belarus Stanislav Levitsky and the director of RUE BelTEI Alexander Lobazhevich.
“Digitalization is one of the key areas for improving the reliability and manageability of the energy system. The introduction of digital technologies and intelligent systems ensures the optimization of costs for maintenance and repair of distribution networks and substations of various voltage classes, minimization of technological disruptions, as well as increasing the efficiency of electricity production processes. We are interested in Rosatom’s experience in these areas, said Alexander Lobazevich.
According to Stanislav Levitsky, Rosatom offers Belarusian organizations not just separate programs, but complex digital ecosystems and competencies. An example of such interaction is a joint project to introduce digital simulators and digital twins at Belarusian CHPs. The result of this work was the formation of a practical base in the country for the development of modern digital training complexes and scaling solutions to other energy facilities. We are interested in expanding areas of cooperation in the field of digitalization in the country’s energy system and interaction with new partners. The signed agreement creates the basis for the implementation of joint projects with RUE BelTEI, he said.
