New school building for 400 seats will be built in Nizhny Novgorod

In Nizhny Novgorod approved plans to build an extension to school No. 93, which can accommodate 400 students. This information was announced by Deputy Director of the Department of Construction and Capital Repairs Artem Karazanov at a meeting of the Standing Commission on Urban Planning and Architecture of the City Duma.

The new building will be built as part of the integrated development project (ICD). The site for construction is located between Mechnikov, Lobachevsky, Commune and Fedoseenko streets.

According to the publication “Domostroynn.ru”, the development of the master plan is engaged in the company “NNDK”, which will also act as a general contractor. The estimated cost of the project is 495 million rubles.

The building is designed to relieve neighboring educational institutions.

In 2025, the Ministry of Urban Planning of the region issued a permit for the preparation of project documentation. For final approval, the authorities need to include the new building in the program for the development of social infrastructure until 2030.
