New reservoir for 1500 cubic meters will appear in Svetlogorsk

In Svetlogorsk, under the federal project “Modernization of communal infrastructure” of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”, the reconstruction of the water supply and pumping station continues. This was reported in the Ministry of Construction and Housing of the Kaliningrad region.

A new reservoir of clean water with a volume of 1500 cubic meters is being built at the facility. The installation of formwork and plate reinforcement is completed, specialists proceed to the device of the reinforcement frame of the walls. As part of the reconstruction, outdated pumping equipment will be replaced with energy-efficient units and intra-site water supply networks will be updated.

After completion of the work, the reliability of the water supply throughout the city will increase. The new reservoir will create an additional supply of clean water in case of peak loads, especially during the summer holiday season.

The federal project has been implemented in the region since last year. During this time, more than ten objects of overhaul of heat supply and water supply were introduced, 10.93 km of networks were updated. Housing conditions improved 86 thousand people. By 2028, the quality of utilities will improve for more than 113,000 people.

Earlier it was reported that in the Kaliningrad region 227 orphans received housing since the beginning of the year.
