November invites residents of the Vladimir region to the “sky show”
November will give residents of the Vladimir region and the whole of Russia a rich program of observations of the night sky

In November, the sky over the Vladimir region will be especially generous to the spectacle.
At the beginning of the month, on the night of November 4-5, we are waiting for the South Taurids starfall. Moonlight will hardly interfere with observations, as the moon will be a thin sickle. Despite the low intensity (up to 10 meteors per hour), the bolides of this stream are very bright and slow - they are convenient to catch with your eyes.
In the middle of the month, November 14, will be a mini-parade of planets. There are four planets in the sky. Venus, Mars and Jupiter will be perfectly visible, but in order to find Mercury, which will press against the horizon, you may have to use binoculars.
The final of the month - November 24 - will please the supermoon. The moon will be as close to Earth as possible. It will look like a huge flashlight. To see this, you don’t need telescopes – just choose a location away from city lights and make sure the sky is clear.
