About the new rules of admission to the magistracy told Volgograd
The Ministry of Education is preparing adjustments to the rules for admission to the magistracy - the draft of the corresponding order was at the disposal of RIA Novosti.
According to the document, applicants will be allowed to apply for no more than five directions within one university. Now there are no restrictions on the number of selected programs within one educational institution - the applicant has the right to specify any number of training programs.
Innovations are planned to be introduced from 2027-2028 academic year.
According to the head of the department Valery Falkov, the new model of higher education will also affect the duration of studies in the magistracy: the term will vary from one to three years - it will be determined taking into account the complexity of the specialty.
The transition of universities to the updated system is expected to be completed smoothly - until 2030.
