In the village of Leninsky, the installation of a new building of a women's consultation, which will serve about 15.5 thousand residents of Greater Tula, is being completed. The medical institution is created according to the national project “Family”, reminded “MK in Tula” in the press service of the Tula Ministry of Health
Installation of the building began in April 2026. The one-storey consultation with an area of 500 square meters has already passed the main construction stages: the work on the site and the roofing is completed, the total readiness is 90%. Now specialists are engaged in interior decoration and lay engineering networks.
According to Igor Soin, Deputy Chief Doctor of Tula City Hospital No. 11, more than ten medical rooms will be equipped in the consultation. Here will take obstetricians-gynecologists and other specialists, will earn a treatment room, day hospital, offices of a psychologist and social worker. For visitors with young children, a mother and child room and a play area are provided. Medical equipment has already been purchased, the staff is staffed by specialists.
Now residents of the village turn to gynecologists in the local clinic. The new consultation will be placed on the territory of the hospital town. In a separate building, women, including future mothers, will be able to receive specialized care, and the flow of pregnant patients will not intersect with visitors to the clinic.
Recall that in 2025, according to the national project “Family”, five women’s consultations were equipped with modern equipment in Belev, Venevsky, Kireevsky, Zaoksky and Chernsky districts. Health facilities in the region also have social assistant offices where women can learn about available support measures.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” wrote that in the Tula region became less likely to conduct caesarean section. According to the regional Ministry of Health, in 2023, such an operation was performed in 37% of cases, and by the end of 2025, the figure decreased to 31.9%. The changes are associated with the work of obstetricians-gynecologists, the introduction of modern medical protocols and the preparation of parents for the conception and birth of a child.
