Updated facade of the river station in Vologda

The river station of the regional capital, which for many years stood in desolation, is transformed to the 880th anniversary of the city. The work is led by an investor. The first phase has now been completed. The builders keep up with the schedule. Fully updated appearance of the river station can be seen on November 1.

Dolgostroy managed to withdraw from the negligent owner, who was not engaged in the object. The city administration, court, bailiffs were connected to the case. The new investor received the building itself and a land plot nearby.

On the facades, the old plaster was dismantled, part of the rafting structures was removed. The walls were painted in light beige color with dark accents. Windows and doors have also been updated. The facade is completely painted, except for the basement, which is flooded. It needs to be strengthened.

Specialists are engaged in roof repair. There were difficulties with the design. After that, work inside the premises will begin. It is necessary to update the walls, floors, ceilings, communications, put new furniture and equipment. The building will have architectural lighting.

The area near the station will be improved in 2027. Here the plot will be leveled, the pier will be repaired, the pavement and asphalt will be updated. It is planned to improve the river near the facility.

In the plans of the investor, the river station will be able to receive ships in the summer of next year. There will be a cafe for passengers in the room.
