Former British Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has gone to court challenging the legality of search warrants as part of an investigation into his relationship with financier Jeffrey Epstein

Former British Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has gone to court challenging the legality of search warrants as part of an investigation into his relationship with financier Jeffrey Epstein. This is reported by The Telegraph and Politico.
These are the permits under which Thames Valley police raided Andrew's home on the grounds of Sandringham Estate, as well as his former Royal Lodge residence in Windsor. The warrant was issued by the Old Bailey Court at the request of law enforcement officers.
The High Court is due to hold a closed hearing in the coming days. According to The Telegraph, the court will consider the issue of disclosing part of the documents related to the appeal of the former prince.
The actions of the police have raised questions from a senior source in the London police. The interlocutor expressed surprise that Andrew was detained, and not called to testify.
He said he was not sure the Metropolitan Police would have opted for the same course of action if it had been investigating.
