Hunting in Russia from 100 thousand rubles: what is included in the price and who is available tours
Hunting tourism in Russia is not an all-inclusive mass holiday, but a narrow but stable market segment with a high average check.
According to the Vice-President of ATOR Sergey Romashkin, even the most modest trip to the reserve will cost at least 100 thousand rubles.
The basic version assumes that the hunter gets to the place on his own and uses his weapons. The VIP format is a completely different level of comfort. For amounts in the millions, the client will be provided with:
• Transfer by SUV or even helicopter;
• Comfortable accommodation and professional cooking;
• Full service: from the organization of dinner to the cutting of production and its transportation;
• If necessary, rent weapons and provide ammunition.
No amount of money overrides the requirements of the law. Two documents are required for legal hunting in Russia: a valid hunting card and a permit for storing and carrying weapons. Without them, no tour organizer will issue a tour. It is this strict filter that makes the audience of such trips limited, and the demand is stable, independent of seasonal fluctuations.
Large network tour operators, familiar to us in beach destinations, hunting tours are not engaged. This market is held by small specialized companies and teams of professional rangers. They are well aware of the seasons, the features of specific hunting farms and guarantee the safety and legality of the process.
