In October in the Rostov region begins the hunting season for a russian hare
In October in the Rostov region begins the hunting season for a russian hare. The corresponding deadlines are established by the regional rules for the extraction of hunting resources.
The hunt will take place in two stages. From October 17 to January 10, hunting with greyhounds is allowed - this is a traditional method of prey, in which hunters use specialized hounds to track down and prey the beast. Then, from November 7 to January 31, it will be possible to hunt without dogs in other ways permitted by law.
Before going hunting, it is necessary to check the availability of a valid hunting ticket and permits for the extraction of hunting resources. Compliance with the deadlines is mandatory – mining outside the established period entails administrative responsibility.
By the way, since September 30, the season of hunting for male moose, deer and deer has ended on the Don. At the same time, the extraction of females and young animals of these species is allowed later - from October 1, 2026 to January 10, 2027. For elk operates a different schedule: the hunt for all sex and age groups of this species opened earlier - from September 15, 2026, and will last until January 10, 2027. Thus, the hunt for moose in the Rostov region is already in full swing.
