In Belarus in the summer, increased attention was paid to the organization of labor and recreation camps. About 16 thousand teenagers were covered by useful employment on vacation. On September 24, Deputy Director of the Republican Center for Health Improvement and Sanatorium-Resort Treatment of the Population Alexander Tsai told reporters, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

- Many children want to earn their first money, get to know themselves in a new profession. Perhaps this will allow them to decide on their future, Tsai said. This year, we have increased the coverage of useful employment for adolescents. At the same time, in the camps of the city of Minsk, salaries reached 900 BYN and even 1,000 BYN for a 15-day shift. This is a lot of money: schoolchildren were able to buy what they wanted and help parents reduce the social burden in preparation for the new school year.

In addition, the speaker noted that during the summer holidays, excursion programs were organized for schoolchildren to the flagships of the domestic industry. The guys saw the production at such large enterprises as BelAZ, MAZ, Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ), glass factory "Neman" and many others.

- Also in the summer, a large-scale republican information and educational campaign “A Step to Success” was held in all camps of the country, Tsai added. The children were able to get acquainted with heads of state bodies, titled athletes and leaders of public associations. First-hand teenagers learned the secrets of personal success and got acquainted with the modern achievements of the country. In addition, regular visits to places of military glory, visits to cinemas and theaters were organized.
