Omich nearly died from constant fainting
BSMP No1 Omsk helped a man who for several years regularly lost consciousness

In BSMP No1 Omsk helped a man who for several years regularly lost consciousness. Despite an active lifestyle, the patient did not seek medical help for a long time: he believed that the cause of fainting was normal fatigue.
The situation was much more serious: Omich revealed a dangerous heart rhythm disorder, due to which the brain did not receive blood and oxygen. In the hospital, the man was in serious condition - with a critically low pulse rate and a pronounced deficit in blood supply to the brain.
The doctors acted without delay: first installed a temporary external pacemaker, and a day later, when the condition stabilized, implanted a permanent two-chamber device. Within a few days, the patient felt a noticeable relief - the pressure returned to normal, weakness and dizziness disappeared. The results of the control ECG confirmed the correct operation of the pacemaker. After the necessary treatment and rehabilitation, the man was discharged home.
Doctors emphasize: sudden fainting can signal severe pathologies of the heart, including arrhythmia, defects and the consequences of a heart attack. With such symptoms, it is important to consult a cardiologist in a timely manner.
