LLC "Cherkizovo-meat products" under Tula polluted the river Lyubashevka

Tula environmental prosecutor's office checked LLC "Cherkizovo-meat products". The event was attended by experts of regulatory authorities. About the results of “MK in Tula” reported in the Prosecutor’s office.

It turned out that the enterprise discharges wastewater from the industrial site into the Lyubashevka River with excess of the maximum permissible concentrations of pollutants.

In addition, the company did not agree on an action plan to reduce emissions during periods of adverse weather conditions and did not update the information in the state register of objects that affect the environment.

As a result of the audit, the head of the organization made a presentation. Three administrative cases in the field of environmental protection were initiated against the company's officials. The materials were sent to the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Ecology of the Tula region for consideration on the merits.

Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that the Tula Prosecutor’s office checked the “Alexinsky brick” and found violations on emissions. The company did not conclude a contract for the forecast of adverse weather conditions, for which the responsible person was fined 2 thousand rubles.
