Organizer of illegal migration channel extradited from UAE to Belarus
A citizen of Madagascar, who was put on the international wanted list for organizing an illegal migration channel, was brought to Minsk from Russia.

A citizen of Madagascar, declared on the international wanted list for organizing an illegal migration channel, was brought to Minsk from the UAE, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was established that in June 2024, the accused as part of an organized group ensured the illegal stay in Belarus and the subsequent departure to the EU countries of 13 citizens of African states - Burundi, Cameroon, Comoros and Nigeria. The movement of people was carried out outside the established checkpoints.
The location of the attacker was established through the use of Interpol channels. The man was arrested and detained in the UAE.
The request for the extradition of the wanted person was granted by the Arab authorities.
The transfer procedure took place at Dubai airport, from where he was taken to Minsk.
