Orlovets fined 120,000 for stealing money from a colleague’s card

In the Orel region, the Kromsky district court sentenced a local resident. The man stole funds from the bank card of a colleague. Everything happened at their place of work - in the fire department.

According to the press service of the court, the incident occurred this summer, July 14. The defendant saw a bank card on the table and took advantage of the fact that there was no one nearby: he rewrote the data and with the help of a mobile application transferred to his account first 35 thousand, and then another 25 thousand rubles.

In court, the man fully admitted his guilt and repented. He managed to return all the stolen money to the owner, so the victim did not make any claims against him.

Taking into account the guilty plea and full compensation for damages, the court imposed a fine of 120 thousand rubles on the offender. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
