In the Orel region completed the investigation of a criminal case against a man accused of murder with particular cruelty.

According to the press service of the regional Investigative Committee, the tragedy occurred on May 18 in a forest near the village of Vesely. Two friends who had a long-standing conflict were drinking together. At some point, the quarrel turned into violence: the accused doused his drinking companion with gasoline and set fire to him. From the burns received, the victim died on the spot.

Investigators have gathered sufficient evidence. Now the case materials are transferred to the court. For a particularly cruel murder, the accused faces punishment under Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
