On the eve of World Animal Protection Day, representatives of the First Movement and the Childhood Navigators project organized a charity trip to the Alfa homeless animal shelter. Students of Oryol schools No. 18, 19, 27, 51 and 53 joined the humanitarian mission.
According to the mayor's office, young volunteers delivered a batch of food to the shelter, and also provided all possible assistance to employees in caring for pets.
“A visit to the shelter became an opportunity for schoolchildren not only to help his wards, but also to show by their own example that a responsible attitude to animals begins with simple daily actions,” the city administration said.
