“Especially large”: in Novokuznetsk detained drug courier with 25 parcels

In Novokuznetsk, police stopped an attempt to sell a large batch of drugs. In the field of view of the operatives got a 46-year-old local resident who already had a criminal record for such crimes. He was arrested and taken to the police station.

During the search, the man found 25 packages. Examination confirmed: inside carfentanyl with a total weight of about 60 grams. For this substance is a particularly large size. As it turned out, the detainee acquired the drug in a non-contact way, then to sell.

Now a criminal case has been opened against him under the article on attempted sale of drugs on an especially large scale. The maximum penalty is up to 20 years in prison. The man had already been tried for the same, so he hardly expected leniency. The police continue to establish all the circumstances.
