Stop near the railway station will be returned to its former place

In Petrozavodsk, the public transport stop complex is returned to its place at the railway station. This was reported in his blog by the mayor Inna Kolykhmatova.

On the night of November 7, the stop, which was temporarily located near the house No. 2 on Gagarin Square, will be moved back to the station building. According to the mayor, this became possible after the completion of the main stage of improvement of the territory. Acceptance of the completed work has already taken place.

As part of the renovation of the area, which was carried out within the framework of the state program "Tourism Development", retaining walls and staircase descent were restored, the old asphalt covering was replaced, and the platform was paved with granite slabs before the descent.

In the near future, the contractor must complete the installation of new benches, urns and flower beds made of granite stones.
