Caution: fraudsters promise Belarusians 2000 rubles is a fraud
In Belarus, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, a new fraudulent scheme is gaining momentum: scammers imitate the state payment program and make it out under the guise of an official project of the Ministry of Finance or an article on the website of the regional media.

Giving money at the state level to everyone! We will tell you in the project “Hearing Check”, where the deception is hidden.
“Decent Payment” – Only in the World of Fraudsters
Now any citizen of Belarus can get a decent payment! Really, with a big threat to your wallet!
And the payments themselves are actually not. It exists in the world of fraudsters – and this is a new scheme of scammers, which is currently being tested in three countries at once: Belarus, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. The very principle of deception is far from new, but it is extremely dangerous due to the fact that cyber scammers emphasize two things – the desire of the common man to get a certain amount, practically without resorting to any labor, and how the deception is packaged. I’ll tell you right away – quite beautiful and almost official. To participate in the receipt of such a supposed “state payment” is quite easy, just fill out a questionnaire and attach contact details. The scheme has "two storefronts" - for each deception, which is guaranteed to lead to the loss of all savings.
Two “windows” of deception: what the scheme looks like
In the first case, everything is simple and prosaic – an ordinary one-page site, but beautifully designed, but this is only a wrapper. The user is greeted by the bright and catchy content of the ad, there will be something like: "New project in Belarus." Now everyone can get passive income. The action is held with the support of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Belarus. The program is working. Thousands of people across the country have started receiving regular payments. It's official! A little below the page form that to receive the coveted payment must be filled in 100%.
The second option, “wrappers of fraudulent pot with honey”, is better technically, more convincing psychologically, but also works for victims with a greater guarantee. It looks exactly like the real website of one of the regional media outlets. The portal is filled with the latest news, the pages are regularly updated - but the most supposedly important event is highlighted in large print on the front page!
“Today, at the state level, it was decided to regularly pay Belarusian citizens 2,000 rubles – all under the guarantees of the Ministry of Finance” – and this story is framed in the best traditions of the correspondent article. Everything is done so as not to arouse the slightest suspicion in the victim and, again, force the questionnaire to pass.
Once all the necessary data is left behind, the second act of a fraudulent spectacle called “Money from the State” begins. Contact with the victim comes so-called, for example, “curator” or “personal consultant”. Everything tells smoothly and lays out the process of obtaining finances - the main thing in order to receive a guaranteed payment, according to the personal manager, to verify the identity, it is necessary not only to send personal data, but also to confirm intentions with a small contribution to the account, well, or pay a commission. As soon as the victim transfers money, communication with the curator suddenly breaks down, and the so-called "Guaranteed payment from the state" no one, of course, does not receive.
Dangerous Offshoot: Malware App and Full Control of Device
There is another branch of the scheme - it can lead not only to the loss of a certain contribution, but also deprive the victim of all savings. Scammers for “identity verification” or allegedly for “registration in the payment system” may require you to install a mobile application and give the necessary permissions. You can't do that! Under the guise of an official application, the victim will be given malicious software. With it, fraudsters can gain full control over the victim’s device – including access to Internet banking and the ability to intercept incoming financial notifications.
Why you can not transfer the scan of the passport: hidden risks
But this, alas, is not the last danger that awaits a potential victim in a scheme called “Money to everyone!”. In addition to the requirements for the installation of applications and the full issuance of personal data, there is another, a mere idleness, according to criminals, to receive the alleged payment, you just need to transfer a passport scan. And this is very important – it is impossible to transfer photos or scanned images of an ID card to anyone, categorically!
Yes, in our country, it is impossible to take a loan on the image of the document, but it is quite possible to register an account in an online casino or register an electronic wallet in your name! Who knows what scammers will do with these accounts? Maybe they will be auctioned off on the darknet, maybe they will be used as one of the links in the criminal chain for "black money laundering." This is a real danger – the victim, unknowingly, potentially becomes part or almost an accomplice of the scam. Yes, law enforcement officers will check everything, and if the person is honest, the case will disappear. But what are the risks? It is easier not to get into such stories at the start.
How to Protect Yourself: Simple but Obligatory Rules
It is important to set clear rules and strictly follow them:
Always check the information and trust only verified sources – if a decision is made on a real state program, all details must be published on the official websites of authorities or portals of relevant ministries.
• Do not follow links from strangers. Even if the link you did not ask for, you sent a friend, open it in no hurry. It's likely that a friend's account could have been hacked.
Always observe the “rules of financial secrecy”. Do not disclose your personal data to anyone under any circumstances, what kind of numbers on your bank card, codes and passwords from SMS or PUSH notifications. Do not enter this data on sites that you are not sure of.
Use WHOIS services (they are easy to find with the help of a search engine): there by simple manipulations you can easily find out the country of origin of the site and even the date of registration. Fraudsters, I remind you, in most cases operate from abroad.
The main thing is not to transfer money online to strangers. Even if they ask very strongly, even if they pose as KGB officers or the chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
