The first 40-apartment house in Babinichy, Vitebsk district was solemnly commissioned today, November 6. The opening of the five-story building is timed to the Day of the October Revolution, but begins a new, modern page of comfort for villagers. Among the owners of the cherished meters are large families, workers in agriculture, education, health care, culture, the sb.by correspondent reports.

The new building was built according to modern requirements of housing construction, there are video surveillance cameras, spacious parking, landscaped yard area, in the near future a whole children's playground will appear in the yard.

Most of the apartments are rented, which helps to attract new personnel, especially in the agro-industrial complex, since the area is agricultural. And this is an effective mechanism, as we see when communicating with newcomers.

The young Volkov family even changed the Vitebsk residence permit for an agricultural town for the sake of a separate housing. Vladislav is a zoo technician, Ksenia is a veterinarian, both work in the Shmyrev agricultural complex of OJSC Vitebsk broiler poultry farm. We arrived in the district on distribution, but found many reasons to stay:

- While living with his parents in Vitebsk. We signed up three months ago, so, of course, we dreamed of a separate apartment. And here it comes! In Vitebsk, not every five-story building has an elevator, but we have one. Very comfortable. The view from the window is a beautiful, real landscape! Nearby there is a kindergarten, a shop, a school, a medical institution - a base for a comfortable family life. We are much closer to work now. A decent salary, growth prospects, support from the management of the enterprise and the district are strong arguments to stay here.

Anastasia Sushch was a young specialist, and now the deputy head of the Babinichsky kindergarten. And here's another change in life - housewarming. The girl is full of emotions and joyful anticipation:

- I've been looking for curtains before I've been home, I can't wait to move. I myself come from Vitebsk district, I live in my parents’ house in another village, so I had to travel every day to work by public transport or ask my father to bring me by car. Now ten minutes on foot, and I'm there. Keeping the keys to your first apartment is great! During the distribution, I confess, I did not even think that there would be such huge support for young specialists from the district and the state. This is a real, tangible concern for young cadres. I love my district, I was born and grew up here, so I am happy to watch how the agro-town is upset, new facilities appear, and therefore prospects for life in the village.

Chairman of the Vitebsk District Executive Committee Sergey Egorov during the solemn presentation of keys to new settlers stressed that today the development of rental housing by the Government, the state is paid increased attention, through funding, legislative innovations. This priority of housing policy helps to attract labor resources to the regions:

- It is already becoming a good tradition that every year such a residential building is built in Vitebsk district. I am glad that most of the apartments are rented. Not only locals will live here, but also those who came to our district, work at our enterprises, institutions and organizations. We have even more plans to build similar houses in other similarly small settlements. It is important for us that people stay in the region to work, strengthen food security, create families, and give birth to children.

Another 40-apartment house in honor of the holiday was solemnly commissioned in Lepel, here also part of the apartments is provided for large families, but most will replenish the rental housing fund, to attract and consolidate personnel in the area.

At once two important housing objects appeared in the Chashnik district. In Novolukoml, after a large-scale reconstruction, the doors of the dormitory No. 3 of the Lukomlskaya GRES branch of RUE Vitebskenergo opened. For a long time, the building was on conservation, thorough repairs and investments were required to make service "meters" comfortable for life, to convert rooms into modern rental apartments. Also, new rental housing will be solemnly commissioned tomorrow in the Chashniki itself, in a festive atmosphere, new settlers will receive the cherished keys.
