At the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, significant violations of citizens’ property rights in the construction sector were eliminated. This was stated today, October 7, the Prosecutor General of Belarus Dmitry Gora during a joint meeting of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, at which parliamentarians heard information from the Prosecutor General on the results of their activities.

In particular, it was established that the executive committees of the Minsk region made illegal decisions to refuse citizens to accept into operation residential buildings and outbuildings, violated the requirements of the Decree of the Head of State of July 25, 2022 No. 253 “On the simplified procedure for acceptance into operation of construction facilities”, said Dmitry Gora:
- At the request of prosecutors, 90 illegal decisions were canceled, officials were brought to justice, citizens’ rights were restored.
In addition, the Parliament supported many normative initiatives of the Prosecutor General’s Office in the field of environmental protection, including the correction of the land, subsoil codes, the Water Code and the Law on Land Reclamation.
