Yehudin Petrovsky School No. 1 was among the leaders of the All-Russian rally, which was attended by 469 teams from Russia and Belarus. This was reported in the administration of the Krasnogvardeysky district, reports KIA.
The three-day meeting was held in Moscow and gathered participants from 77 regions of Russia and the Republic of Belarus. The program included tests on combat training and weapons handling, endurance training, meetings with Heroes of Russia, master classes and excursions to the Victory Museum.
The rivals of Griffin were experienced teams, for many of whom participation in rallies became a tradition. According to the results of the competition, the squad took fourth place in the team standings.
The administration noted that the success was the result of many years of work of the youth workers and their mentor – a teacher of additional education Sergey Chumachenko. Children help veterans of the Great Patriotic War and participate in actions in support of military personnel.
The school also prepares teams for Zarnitsa 2.0, serves in the Guard of Honor, is engaged in preserving the memory of the defenders of the Fatherland and collecting assistance for the military.
The head of the district administration Vasily Grabovan congratulated the youth and stressed that they have become an example for schoolchildren. According to him, behind the high result are hours of training, endurance and willpower.
“You are our main support and our pride,” he said.
