Excerpts from the play of the Kursk playwright will be performed on the stage of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theater
The premiere of the production of the special operation “In my chest the bell”

On October 30, the main stage of the Yevgeny Vakhtangov Theatre in Moscow will host the premiere of a performance dedicated to a special military operation. This was reported in the administration of Kursk.
The basis of the production “In my chest the bell...” directed by Eldar Tramov was the texts of modern authors and classics of Russian literature. Excerpts from the play “How I Remained a Man” by playwright and specialist of the press service of the Kursk administration Alexander Demchenko were also taken into the work.
The Vakhtangov Theater reported that about 50 artists were involved in the production. Among them are Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Olga Tumaykina, Andrei Ilyin and Maria Volkova.
The theater noted that the main topics were two related to the understanding of the fate of people who learned the war: heroism and hope. These themes, deeply treated in Russian literature and theater, lead contemporaries to artistic dialogue with different eras. It allows you to remember, according to Vakhtangov, both the modern and the eternal.
In addition to the text of the Kursk playwright, the play will feature fragments from plays written within the framework of the project “Actual dramaturgy about a special military operation” of the art cluster “Tavrida”. Excerpts from the novels “War and Peace” by Leo Tolstoy and “The Living and the Dead” by Konstantin Simonov are also used. Poems by Ivan Bunin, Alexander Blok, Vladimir Vysotsky, Anna Revyakina and participants of the SVO will be heard.
Earlier, the play by Alexander Demchenko “How I remained a man” was staged in the Kursk State Drama Theater named after Pushkin and in the puppet theater and actor “Magic Flute” in Nefteyugansk.
