Paralyzed Barnaul 12 hours knocked on the wall and asked to call an ambulance
In Barnaul, a man who suffered a stroke knocked on a wall for 12 hours and tried to call for help. An ambulance was called by neighbors who heard a knock. This was told in social networks of the Barnaul Ambulance Station.

In Barnaul on October 2, a team of doctors went on call with the occasion “Man knocks on the walls, asks to call an ambulance.” Experts who arrived at the scene found that neighbors noticed knocking during the day, but only after 12 hours they heard a weak male voice asking for help.
Medics hit the apartment. It turned out that the man suffered a stroke, and he was paralyzed. He lay on the floor for 12 hours, fighting for his life and trying to call for help with a knock on the wall.
Despite the duration of the disease and the severity of the condition, emergency doctors managed to provide all the necessary assistance, stabilize the patient and take him to the hospital for further treatment.
“A stroke is a vascular disaster. When it happens, the brain stops controlling the body. A person may be fully conscious but not be able to move a finger. He becomes a hostage in his own body. Among us are people who are particularly vulnerable – lonely elderly neighbors, people with chronic diseases, those who are left without loved ones. Stroke, heart attack, fall – trouble can happen at any time. And then the only thread to salvation becomes the one who lives behind the wall, the doctors stressed.
