Monrepo Park prepares for winter and invites volunteer assistants

Employees of the Vyborg Monrepo Park prepare the territory of the museum-reserve for the winter. Seasonal work is carried out in the manor garden and fruit garden. Plants are trimmed and transplanted. Fertilizers are being applied. To prepare the park for future flowering.

The specialists of the contractor organization help the employees of the park department, the Monrepo Park public said. And the curator Marina Smetankina said: “This year we have carried out great repairs together to restore the China Valley, the Kitchen Garden, the Topiary Garden, to care for flower beds and shrubs.”.

And soon, perhaps the most ambitious work will unfold in the park. We'll have to clean up the fallen foliage. And then the clearing of the coastline and other areas from the undergrowth will continue, which will reveal new species points of the park.

Members of the Monrepo Friends Club assist in cleaning the leaves. Anyone who wishes can also help. You can come during the working day from 11 to 16 hours. The meeting place is at the greenhouse.
