Passenger traffic in the region increased 1.2 times in 2026.

In the navigation period of 2026, the company "Vodolet", engaged in river transportation on hydrofoils, carried 151 thousand passengers. This figure exceeds the data of 2025 by 1.2 times. Governor Gleb Nikitin shared this information in his Telegram channel.

According to the governor, Valdai 45R and Meteor 120R vessels operated flights on 18 routes connecting different regions. The total number of flights was about 5 thousand, which is 8.7% more than in the previous navigation season.

Earlier it was reported that the fleet of the company "Vodolet" consists of four ships "Meteor 120R" and five "Valdai 45R". It is expected that in 2027 the park will be replenished with two more Meteor vessels produced by the Rostislav Alekseev Central Design Bureau.
