The Governor of the Ryazan region Pavel Malkov took part in the regional action “October – the month of landscaping”, which is held within the framework of the national project “Environmental well-being”. The head of the region planted six lindens and maples on the streets of Polonsky and Liberty in the regional center.
The greening of Polonsky Street has been completed – all the trees that have been planted there over the past three years, I bought and planted. Now we're on Liberty Street. I am glad that this action is developing, gaining momentum, said Pavel Malkov. The Governor noted that this year a huge number of people contribute to landscaping, and in landscaping projects always provide for green spaces.
The landing was also attended by Deputy Chairman of the government of the region Andrey Zhurko and head of the administration of Ryazan Boris Yasinsky. In total, more than 5,000 trees and shrubs have already been planted in different parts of the city in the CPKiO, Cherezovsky Ponds Park and other public places. In October 2026, it is planned to plant more than 20 thousand trees and shrubs in the region.
