The North-Western Interregional Territorial State Labor Inspectorate issued a warning to the state budgetary general educational institution boarding school No. 289 with an in-depth study of the subject “Physical Culture” of the Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg. Information about this is posted on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office.
According to the published document, the inspectorate was approached with facts of possible violation of the labor rights of one of the school employees. The teacher of the school received a notice of increasing the workload to 11 hours with reference to the approved extracurricular plan. But such a redirection cannot be considered as a reason for changing the training load, according to the order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation of April 4, 2025.
The employer must notify teachers in writing of changes in the training load at least two months before their entry into force. This applies to all cases, except when the load changes by mutual agreement of the parties to the employment contract.
The director of boarding school No. 289 is Nikolai Rumyantsev. The founder of the educational organization is the administration of Krasnoselsky district of St. Petersburg, headed by Olga Akatsevich.
